Eleven Gregory 4th-6th grade students were chosen to sing in the Elementary Festival Honor Choir held in Brookings, SD on Thursday, February, 13th. Gregory students selected are: Avery Birkel, Addyson DuFrane, Katherine Engel, Kareen, O’Connor, Ian Opp, Harper Rudie, Quinley Steffen, Averie, Stukel, Avaya Vomacka, Mya Warnke, and Harper Wenger. Students made an audition recording and were selected from hundreds of auditions. They are some of the best 4th-6th grade singers from across the state. This year Tom Shelton, the associate professor of sacred music at Westminster Choir College, will conduct the EFHC. The students will practice during the day on Thursday, and present a concert at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of SDSU at 4:45 pm.
